Ferrel Duffel

Senior Pastor

Ferrel has pastored churches in Arkansas since 1978. He has earned a B.A. in Pastoral Ministry from Crichton University, a Master of Divinity from Luther Rice Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife Christy have been married since 1973. Ferrel enjoys fishing, camping, and golfing, and he’s a fan of the Razorbacks.

Dorothy Burrow

Administrative Secretary

Mrs. Dorothy joined University Baptist Church (our predecessor church) in 1971 and was a founding member of FFBC. In 2012 she joined the staff as administrative assistant. A native of Brookland, Mrs. Dorothy enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as gardening.

Steve Thurman

Steve and his wife Tammy joined FFBC in 2013. Steve earned his nursing degree from Southeast Missouri State University in 1995, and has been involved in music ministry his entire life. Steve enjoys spending time with grandkids and eating!

Stephanie Gibson

Children’s ministry Director

Stephanie joined FFBC in 2018 and began serving as Children’s Ministry Director in 2021. She has an Associate’s in Business from ASU Newport and is currently pursuing ministry education at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. She’s been married to her husband, Joe, since 2006 and she has one son, Ty.

Blade Foster

Associate Pastor/ Youth Minister

Blade and his wife, Kalynn, have been with FFBC since 2023. Originally from Shreveport, La and is finishing his bachelor’s degree from LSUS. Blade and his wife are passionate in working with youth and living out the Great Commission. Blade’s favorite things to do are photography, hiking, and reading.
